Paul Cavigli & Amy Cavigli – CA     Paul & Amy fished wacky rigged 5″ chartreuse, and watermelon Senkos in 1-15 ft of water.  They had 45 bass including an 8.8 lb beauty.  Guide J. Manuel

Charles Cashio & Joe Tantillo – LA    Fishing chartreuse spinnerbaits and black/chartreuse Senkos, Charles & Joe had 40 bass including a 7 lber as their largest.   Guide Enrique

Gordon Anderson – LA    Gordon had 65 bass.  He fished pearl flukes in 6 ft of water, and chartreuse lunker lures in 1-5 ft of water.  Guide Pedro

Brenda & Clyde McAfee – TX      Brenda & Clyde both had 10.8 lbers fishing 8″ watermelon red lizards in 10-12 ft of water.  Their daily total was 63 bass.   Guide J. Manuel

Mike Hicks & Rick Hutchinson – LA     Mike & Rick had 83 bass for the day including a nice 8.8 lber.  They fished pearl, and blue/white crankbaits in 1-15 ft of water.   Guide German

Gary Bass & Randy Wood – LA    Gary & Randy fished watermelon red Senkos rigged wacky style in 1-15 ft of water.  They had 68 fish including two 8 lbers.   Guide Sanchez

Other anglers also fished white, white/chartreuse spinnerbaits, watermelon/green, green/chartreuse, pumpkin jigs, and watermelon flukes.

68 at 5:30am warming to 76 at 11:30am.  Cloudy in the morning and strong wind late in the day.

Jerry Smith & Wendell Cook –  AZ      Fishing black/blue jigs in 5-10 ft of water, Jerry & Wendell landed 65 bass including an 11.6 lb trophy.  Guide Enrique

Jason Cook & Richard Noble – AZ & CO    Jason & Richard had 85 bass for the day including two over 9 lbs.  They fished 8″ watermelon red and watermelon lizards in 1-5 ft of water.   Guide Pedro

Barry Matlack – AZ     Barry fished alone and had 30 bass.  He used black/violet jigs in 3-5 ft of water, and 8″ watermelon red lizards in 6-8 ft of water.  Guide Victor

58 degrees at 5am warming to 80 at 12:30pm.  Sunny in the morning but turned cloudy in the afternoon.

Ronnie Taschler & Richard Ahner – PA    Ronnie & Richard watermelon Senkos and 8″ watermelon lizards in 5-8 and 10+ ft of water.  They had 80 bass.   Guide Victor

Brad Ahner & Brian Taschler – PA   Brad & Brian had 78 bass.  They fished whate spinnerbaits in 10+ ft of water.

Jeff, Audrey & Diana Rogers – TX   Jeff, Audrey & Diana fished with 6″ and 8″ watermelon lizards in 1-6 ft of water.  They had 55 bass for the day.

Very cool morning with a temperature of 48 at 4am but warming to 74 at noon.

1/15/2010

This was the last day of fishing for group one.  Their weekly totals were 46 fish over 10 lbs., 17 fish over 15 lbs. and 4 fish 20+ lbs.  This was this group’s first time to fish for peacock and they all enjoyed themselves.

Ric Younkin – WA     Another good day of fishing for Ric with a 72 bass total and a nice 8.6 lber.  He fished perch Pop R’s.   Guide  Armando, Sr.

Eric Burns & Ken Rue – AR     Eric & Ken fished  green pumpkin football head jigs in 2-10 ft of water.  They had 76 bass for the day.   Guide Jorge

Mike Traw & Dax Rofkahr – AR      Fishing green pumpkin football head jigs in 15-20 ft of water, Mike & Dax caught 66 bass.   Guide Hector

Mike Traw & Dax Rofkahr – AR     Mike & Dax had 78 bass including a 10.1 lb trophy and a nice 8.6 lber.  They fished using white swim baits in 25+ ft of water and green pumpkin football head jigs in 15 ft of water.   Guide Armando Sr.

Ric Younkin – WA    Ric fished alone and had 96 bass for the day including two weighing in at 8+ lbs.  He fished perch Gun Fish in 10-12 ft of water, and green pumpkin jigs in 2-12 ft of water.  Guide Jorge

Erick Burns & Ken Rue – AR    Eric & Ken had 59 bass.  They fished green pumpkin head jigs in 10 ft of water.  Their largest bass weighed in at 8.6 lbs.  Guide Hector

Drew Daniel & Wendy Brackney – AR

A great day of fishing for Drew & Wendy!  They fished citrus shad crank baits in 15-30+ ft of water and had 107 bass for the day including a 9, two 10’s, an 11 and 13.2 pound lunkers.   Guide Armando, Sr.

Manuel Real & Alejandro Arias – CA

Another good day of fishing for Manuel & Alejandro.  They had 44 bass including 9, 10 and 10.8 pound beauties.  Their baits of choice were jigs with Junebug lizards as trailers, and blue/chrome Rat-L-Traps.   Guide Chelo.

Eric & Bentley Hunt – TX

Fishing tilapia crank baits in 12+ ft of water Eric & Bentley had 90 bass for the day.  Their largest bass weighed in at 8.5 lbs.   Guide Juan.

A nice day with a high of 90 at noon.

Boat totals for the day ranged between 39-107.  Other baits used were orange jigs, white buzz baits, and chartruese/blue crank baits.  There were 17 bass weighing 7 – 13.2 lbs.
