Our anglers are up to 347 peacock bass.  They now have 3 fish that weighed 20 lbs or more.  Hugh Liles (age 86 years young!) landed his first 20 lber.  Dave Tierney has the largest with a 22 lber. and Charlie Jock has a 20 lber.  The group has 29 over 10 lbs. and 11 over 15 lbs.

It rained again today while the guys were in for lunch so they stayed dry.  They have landed 239 peacocks with a 20 lber as their largest.  They have 12 over 10 lbs and 6 over 15 lbs.

10/3/2011

Group 2 has 10 fishermen.  As of lunch time today they had 144 peacock bass with 7 over 10 lbs and 2 over 15 lbs with a 17lber as the largest.  It was raining yesterday and the Otter was moving trying to get out of the rainy area.

9/30/2011

As of lunch time today our group of anglers had landed 441 fish.  They had 34 over 10 lbs and 9 over 15 with the largest being 19 1/2.  They caught a 19 lber this morning.  Everyone is having a good time.

Our anglers were up to 368 peacock bass at lunch time today.  They now have 27 over 10 lbs. and 5 over 15 lbs.  The largest weighed in at 19 1/2 lbs.  They aren’t fishing hard, just enjoying the trip.

Our first group is a group of couples who have made the trip with Mike Wheatley and his wife Cathy.  They have excellent water conditions and as of lunch time today they have 301 peacock bass.  They have 23 over 10 lbs. and 4 over 15 lbs.  Their largest weighed in at 18 1/2 lbs.

Mike Price & Chris Chun – TX   Fishing citrus shad crankbaits, and green lizards in 15 ft of water, Mike & Chris had 46 bass for the day including a nice 7.8 lber, and a 6.5 lber.  Guide Oscar

Butch Franson & Gary Weissenberger – CA & NC   Butch & Gary landed the most fish with a total of 57.  They fished in 12 ft of water with watermelon lizards.  Their largest weighed in at 6 lbs.   Guide Armando

Mike Furnstahl & Tom Craig – MN & NC   Mike and Tom fished in 15 ft of water with citrus shad crankbaits.  They had 41 bass for the day with a 7 lber as their largest.  Guide Hector

77 degrees at 5:35am warming to 88 at 12:25pm.  82 degrees at 8:10pm.

Butch Franson & Mike Furnstahl – CA & MN    Butch & Mike fished in 15 ft of water with blue/black skinny dippers and watermelon/green lizards.  They had 111 bass for the day including a 9.1 lb beauty.  Guide Victor

Gary Weissenberger & Tom Craig – NC    Gary & Tom had 53 bass for the day including a nice 9.1 lber.  They fished yellow Rat-L-Traps, and watermelon red lizards.  Guide Oscar

Brett Pultz & Luck Cox – AR   Brett & Luck had 40 bass with a 6.2 lber.  They fished watermelon lizards in 4-6 ft of water.  Guid Hector

78 degrees at 5:35am warming to 88 at 12:40pm.  85 degrees at 8pm.

Brett Pultz & Luck Cox – AR    Brett landed the largest fish of the day, a nice 8.2 lber.  He and Luck had a total of 70 bass.  They fished watermelon red Senkos in 5 ft of water, and watermelon lizards in 15 ft of water.  Guide Oscar

Mike Price & Chris Chum – TX    Mike and Chris fished green lizards in 4 ft of water.  They had 30 bass for the day including a 7.9 lber.  Guide Victor

Tom Craig & Butch Franson – NC & CA    Tom & Butch had 60 bass for the day.  They fished chartreuse crankbaits, and watermelon lizards in 15 ft of water.  Guide Hector

77 degrees at 5:30am warming to 95 at noon.  81 degrees at 8:30pm.

Mike Furnstahl & Tom Craig – MN & NC     Mike & Tom fished watermelon lizards in 10 ft of water.  They landed 76 bass for the day including a 9.4 lb beauty.   Guide Oscar

Luck Cox & Brett Pultz – AR     Luck had the largest bass of the day when he landed a 10 lber.  He and Brett had a total of 30 bass for the day.  They fished watermelon lizards in 10 ft of water.  Guide Enrique

Gary Weissenberger & Butch Franson – NC & CA     Gary & Butch also fished watermelon lizards in 10 ft of water.  They had 60 bass for the day with 4.5 lbers as their largest.  Guide Victor
