Group 2 is a couple’s group headed by Mike Wheatley and his wife, Cathy.  After their first day of fishing the group had 134 peacocks with 3 weighing in at 20+ pounds.  These 3 fish were caught by the ladies in this group.

The water is still going down.

Group one ended their fishing adventure with a total of 405 peacocks.  They had 35 over 10 lbs., 15 over 15 lbs, and 3 over 20 lbs, with the largest weighing in at 24.8 pounds.  Ken Kinslow landed this beauty.

The water level is still a little high but is dropping quickly.

Our first group of the Fall season are busy fighting the mighty peacock.  As of today they have 143 fish with 11 over 10 lbs. and 4 over 15 lbs.  Their largest catch so far weighed in at 18 1/2 lbs.  Three and a half more days of fishing to go.

The river is still a bit high but coming down fast.

Derek Cabrera & Kevin Magee – WA

Derek & Kevin had 65 bass with a nice 10 lb trophy.  They fished chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps, pearl swim baits and chartruese swim baits.  The 10 lber was caught on a chartruese swim bait.  Water depth was 12-18 ft.    Guide Juan

Clear day with a little wind in the afternoon.  High of 80 at noon.

Derek Cabrera & Kevin Magee – WA

Derek & Kevin switched to chrome/blue and chrome/black Rat-L-Traps and had another 70 bass day.

Cloudy day with rain.  High of 76 at noon.

Lake level rose 1 more ft.

Derek Cabrera & Kevin Magee – WA

Derek & Kevin only fished 1/2 the day but had 70 bass.  They used watermelon worms and crank baits in 12-15 ft of water.   Guide Juan

Cooler day with a high of 76 at noon.  Cloudy with rain in the afternoon.
