10/28/2009

Paul Kemme – IL      Paul fished alone using  Carolina rigged 8″ watermelon lizards in 15+ ft of water.  He had 38 bass with a 7.12 lber as his largest.   Guide   Armando, Jr.

David Biggs & Randall Roberts – IL     Fishing Carolina rigged 8″ watermelon lizards in 16+ ft of water, David & Randall had 26 bass.    Guide  Oscar

It rained in the morning but cleared in the afternoon.  Lake is at 63%.

Randall Roberts & David Biggs – IL     Randall & David had 69 bass fishing Carolina rigged 10″ green pumpkin worms and 8″ watermelon seed lizards in 15+ ft of water.  Guide Armando, Jr.

Paul Kemme – IL     Paul fished alone using Carolina rigged 8″ watermelon red lizards in 12+ ft of water.  He had a total of 28 bass.   Guide Oscar.

Sunny day with a little wind in the afternoon.  70 degrees at 5am warming to 80 by 10:30am.

Randall Roberts & Paul Kemme – IL     Randall & Paul had 30 bass with two 9.9 lbers, an 8.4 and an 8.2.  They fished 8″ watermelon red worms in 15-20 ft of water.    Guide Jorge

Jim Barta & Jerry Wydner – AL     Fishing 20+ ft deep with Carolina rigged June Bug and pumpkin lizards, Jim & Jerry landed 45 fish.  Their largest weighed 8 lbs.   Guide  Pedro

David Biggs – IL      David fished alone and had 40 bass for the day.  He fished  Pop R’s and Carolina rigged pumpkin lizards in 15+ ft of water.   Guide Victor

Jim Barta & Jerry Wydner – AL       Jim & Jerry switched to Texas rigged 8″ watermelon lizards and black/purple worms in 5+ ft of water.  They landed 35 bass with a nice 8 lber as their largest for the day.     Guide Victor

David Biggs & Randall Roberts – IL     David & Randall had 49 bass with a 7.6 lber as their largest.  They fished 8″ Carolina rigged green pumpkin lizards in 6+ ft of water.    Guide Jorge

Ted Spalding & Ray Boone – MO & TN       Fishing in 10+ ft of water with white flukes and Carolina rigged 8″ green pumpkin lizards, Ted & Ray landed 20 bass.     Guide Pedro

Jim Barta & Jerry Wydner – AL      Jim & Jerry fished Carolina rigged 8″ pumpkin/chartruese lizards and white/chartruese Buzz Baits in 15+ ft of water.  They had 35 bass with an 8.8 lb beauty.   Guide Jorge

Ray Boone & Ted Spalding – TN & MO     Fishing Carolina rigged 8″ pumpkin lizards and Baby Bass flukes in 5-15 ft of water, Ray & Ted landed 18 bass with two 6 lbers as their largest.    Guide Victor

Scott Reynolds & Joe Oliver – MS       Fishing 2-10 ft deep with Sexy Shad crankbaits, Scott & Joe landed 60 bass including an 8.8 lb. beauty.   Guide Armando, Sr.

Matt Stewart & Jeff Brown – GA & AL      Matt & Jeff fished using Pop R’s and watermelon Senkos in 2-20 ft of water.  They had 60 fish for the day.    Guide  Hector.

Scott Reynolds & Jeff Brown – MS & AL      Scott & Jeff had 80 bass today fishing in 5-15 ft of water using Sexy Shad crankbaits.  Their largest weighed 6.6 lbs.     Guide   Hector

Matt Stewart & Joe Oliver – GA & MS       Matt & Joe landed 86 bass fishing topwaters and Senkos.   Guide  Armando, Sr.  

It rained during the night and lasted until 10am.  It was cloudy the rest of the day as Hurricane Rick left the area.

Matt Stewart & Scott Reynold – GA & MS     Matt & Scott had 65 bass for the day fishing 1-7 ft. with watermelon Senkos and white frogs.  Their largest weighed in at 7.6 lbs.  Guide  Armando, Sr.

Joe Oliver & Jeff Brown – MS & AL    Joe & Jeff caught 36 bass, including a 7 lber, fishing watermelon red horned toads and watermelon lizards in 2-25 ft. of water.   Guide  Hector

This  first group to El Salto braved  Hurricane Rick to get to fish.  It rained all day but fortunately there was no wind.

Derek Cabrera & Kevin Magee – WA

Derek & Kevin had 65 bass with a nice 10 lb trophy.  They fished chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps, pearl swim baits and chartruese swim baits.  The 10 lber was caught on a chartruese swim bait.  Water depth was 12-18 ft.    Guide Juan

Derek & Kevin switched to chrome/blue and chrome/black Rat-L-Traps and had another 70 bass day.
