As of lunch today our anglers were up to 464 peacock with 12 over 10 lbs., 7 over 15 lbs., a 20 lber and a 23 lber.

At lunch time today our anglers were up to 269 peacock; however, 2 of the boats did not come in for lunch so we do not have an accurate number. Of the 269 peacock caught, 7 were over 10 lbs, 4 over 15 lbs. and there was one 20 lber.

Frank Vilorio, Jr. & Frank Vilorio, Sr. – NM & TX This father/son team had 87 bass for the day including a nice 8 lber. They fished with chrome Rapala crank baits in 1-5 ft of water, and lipless chrome crank baits in 3-6 ft of water. Guide J. Manuel
Luis Romero & Roy Lown – NM & TX Luis & Roy had 65 bass for the day. They fished chartreuse lizards and watermelon brush hogs in 5+ ft of water. Their largest bass weighed in at 7 lbs. Guide Felipe

Our second group of anglers this Winter season have caught 195 peacock bass in a day and a half of fishing. They have 5 over 10 lbs, 3 over 15 and one 20 lber.

Chris Lum & Dan Toran – CA & VA Chris & Dan fished Senkos and watermelon with red flakes lizards in 3 ft of water. They landed 82 bass with a 9.1 lb beauty as their largest. Guide Armando, Jr.
Scott Lomax – OK Scott fished tilapia, and white spinner baits in 1-15 ft of water. He had 60 bass including a 7 lber and a nice 8 lber. Guide Jorge

Steve Bauer – KS Steve fished chartreuse/white and white spinner baits in 3+ ft of water. He landed 121 bass including a 9.8 lb beauty. Guide J. Manuel
John Ackley & Chris Lum – TX & CA Fishing with citrus shad crank baits in 4 ft of water, and chartreuse/white spinner baits in 3-5 ft of water, John & Chris managed to land 145 bass including a nice 9 lber. Guide Oscar
J. W. Peterson & Jimmy Beach – TX J. W. & Jimmy fished watermelon flukes and chug bugs in 1-15 ft of water. Their fish total for the day was 171. Guide German
Other anglers fished chrome Rat-L-Traps in 10+ ft of water, watermelon red flukes in 1-15 ft of water, watermelon and tequila sunrise jigs in 1-15+ ft of water,chartreuse brush hogs in 12+ ft of water, and Carolina rigged pumpkin lizards in 2+ ft of water. 1,212 bass were landed in all.

With still half a day left to fish, our anglers were up to 569 peacock bass at lunch time today. Of this total, 35 were over 10 lbs, 16 over 15 lbs, and 3 over 20.

At lunch time today our anglers had a total of 484 peacock bass that were landed. They had 28 over 10 lbs., 14 over 15 lbs. and 3 over 20.

Richard & Jim Slack – TX Richard & Jim fished citrus crank baits in 1-10 ft of water. They landed 120 bass including a nice 8 lber. Guide Armando, Jr.
J.W. Peterson & Jimmy Beach – TX Fishing with watermelon and watermelon red flukes in 10 and 20 ft of water, J.W. & Jimmy landed 168 bass for the day. Their largest weighed in at 7.4 lbs. Guide Sanchez
