Mike Gilley & Steve Humphries – AL

Mike & Steve had 90 bass fishing watermelon candy 8″ lizards and brown/blue jigs in 7+ ft of water.  Mike had a 9 lb beauty.   guide Enrique

Troy Hanks & Dan Ellis – TX

Troy & Hank had a great day of fishing with 59 bass that included four 7 lbers and an 8 lber.  Their baits of choice were 8″ watermelon lizards and black/blue jigs in 7-10 ft of water.   guide Chelo

Ron Clark & David Hallmark – GA & AL

Ron & David had 69 bass fishing pearl swim baits and blue Rat-L-Traps in 12+ ft of water.  They had 2 bass over 7 lbs.    guide Armando, Sr.

Warm day with a high of 90 at noon.  Strong wind in the afternoon.

Boat totals ranged from 40 to 90 bass for the day.  Luck Cox also had a 9 lber making a total of three 9 lbers for the day.

Commercial fishing on El Salto has ceased until September.

Richard & Greg fished watermelon lizards in 20 ft of water.  They had 60 bass with a 9.2 lb beauty.    guide Samuel

John Waters & J.W. Peterson – TX

John & J.W. had 80 bass fishing watermelon Flukes in 12 ft of water.   guide Chepe

Greg Almond & Shawn Davis – TX

Greg & Shawn Carolina rigged watermelon Brushhogs and fished 20 ft deep.  They had 50 bass with a nice 7.8 lber.   guide Jesus

Clear and warm morning with a hot, sunny afternoon.  High of 100 at 1pm.

Anglers also fished Pop R’s, green Senkos and green Flukes.  Boat totals ranged from 30-80 bass.

Luck had 25 bass including two 9 lbers fishing 11″ purple worms in 4-15 ft of water.    guide Victor

Ron had 79 bass fishing black/blue Jig Pigs and Money Minnows in 5+ ft of water.  Ron had 2 bass over 6 1/2 lbs.   guide Jorge

Bill Blackburn & Mike Gilley – AL

Bill & Mike fished chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps and 8″ watermelon seed lizards in 8+ ft of water.  They had 95 bass for the day.  guide Chelo

Clear day with a high of 90 at noon.  Strong winds in the afternoon.

Anglers also used Sexy Shad Rat-L-Traps and white crank baits.

Kimball Zimmerman & Bob Ridgway – TX

Very warm during the day with a high of 102 at 2pm.

Lake is at 62.2% and slowly dropping.

Dan & Troy had 33 bass including two 8 lbers and a 7 lber fishing green magnum Flukes in 4+ ft of water, and 10″ black/blue Power worm in 20+ ft of water.    guide Armando, Sr.

David Hallmark – AL

David fished alone and had 34 bass including two over 7 1/2 lbs.  He used watermelon and watermelon candy Brush Hogs in 4-10 ft of water.    guide Enrique

Ron and Barry fished pearl money minnows 5-8 ft deep and a shad topwater.  They had 41 bass with two 7 lbers.     guide Victor

C. J. & Dylan fished watermelon worms 6 ft deep.  They had 50 bass including a 9.8 lb trophy.    guide Arnoldo

Trevor Smith & Joe Fruge – OR & LA

Trevor and Joe had 36 bass fishing watermelon worms 4-12 ft deep.  They had two 8 lbers.

Nice and cool in the morning with wind in the afternoon.  High of 84 at 2pm.

Joe Fruge,  Dylan Domingue, C.J. Monlezun & Travis Smith,- LA & OR

This family grouped swapped partners at lunch.  They had a grand total of 98 bass with a 9.5 lb beauty as their largest.  They fished citrus Fat Free Shad crank baits and white spinner baits in 12+ ft of water.

Warm day with a high of 84 at noon.

Dylan Domingue & Trevor Smith – LA & OR

Talk about a great day of fishing for an 11 year old.  Dylan fished citrus crank baits 16-20 ft deep and landed  7, 7.8, 8, 9 lbers along with a 10.8 lb trophy.  He and Trevor had 50 bass for the day.      guide Juan

 

Joe Fruge & C. J. Monlezun – LA

Joe & Trevor fished white spinner baits 3-10 ft in the morning and watermelon red lizards 8-10 ft deep in the afternoon.  Joe is 14 yrs old and his biggest bass weighed in at 9 lbs.    guide German
