Larry Walker – AR

Larry fished alone landing 43 bass including 10.6, 9.7, 8.2 & 8.1 lbers.  His bait of choice was a citrus shad crank bait fished 25+ ft deep.    Guide Armando, Sr.

Manuel Real & Alejandro Arias – CA

Manuel & Alejandro fished watermelon “Creatures” and chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps in 3-15 ft of water.  Their largest bass weighed in at 10 lbs.  They had 41 bass for the day.    Guide Hector

Eric Morton & Ted Perrin – MO

Eric & Ted had 100 bass with two over 7 lbs.  They fished citrus shad crank baits in 10+ ft of water.     Guide Juan

A cloudy morning but clearing and windy in the afternoon.  High of 88 at noon.

This group of anglers had 12 bass 7 pounds or larger.  Other baits used were 10″ watermelon red Monster worms, Sexy Shad Rt-L-Traps, and 8″ watermelon red lizards.  Boat totals ranged from 41-100 bass for the day.

Deric McConnell & Travis Nevills – AR

Deric & Travis fished camel jigs in 12-15 ft of water and had three bass weighing in over 9 lbs — 9.2, 9.7, 10.11.  They had 45 bass for the day.     Guide Jorge

Lance Ellison & Trent Cox – AR

Fishing blue/white crank baits in 12+ ft of water Lance & Trent  landed 50 bass including  9.8 and 10.0 lb trophies.    Guide J. Manuel

Sheldon Jones – AR

Sheldon fished alone and had 73 bass for the day fishing Fat Free Citrus Shad crank baits in 25-30 ft of water.  His largest bass weighed in at 9.3 lbs.  Guide Oscar

A beautiful day with a high of 92 at noon.

Another great day of fishing for this group of anglers.  They had 20 bass 7 lbs or larger.  Other popular baits used were fire tiger crank baits, black/blue jigs, white buzz baits, and 8″ watermelon lizards.

Trent Cox & Clarence McConnell – AR

Trent & Clarence had 44 bass fishing 8″ garlic watermelon lizards in 12-15 ft of water and citrus crank baits in 8-10 ft of water.  Their largest bass were 10 lb and 9 lb beauties.     Guide Jorge

Carlton McConnell & David McConnell – AR

Fishing citrus and perico crank baits in 8+ ft of water Carlton & David had 38 bass with a 9.6 lber and a 9.0 lber.    Guide Armando, Sr.

Tom Denniston & Taylor Denniston – AR

Tom & Taylor had two 8.8 lbers fishing watermelon Brush hogs and citrus crank baits in 8+ ft of water.  Their total for the day was 40 bass.      Guide Victor

Very warm day with a high of 94 at noon.

Anglers had 15 bass weighing 7 lbs and over.  Other baits used included green and tilapia colored jigs, white and white/chartruese buzz baits, 8″ watermelon lizards, DB 2 chartruese crank baits, and white crank baits.

Jason Bunch & Phil Rokgaver – AR

Jason & Phil had a great day of fishing, landing 55 bass including a 13 lb trophy and a nice 9.3 lber.  They fished citrus swimbaits in 15-20 ft of water and Strike King Series 6 crank baits 20+ ft deep.    Guide Chelo

Lance & Dwight Tucker – AR

Lance & Dwight fished 6″ & 8″ watermelon lizards in 8-10 ft of water.  They had 65 bass for the day including 9 & 10 lb beauties.   Guide Jorge

Fishing white/chartruese spinner baits in 6+ ft of water Tom & Taylor had 45 bass.  Their largest weighed in at 9.2 lbs.    Guide Enrique

Warm day with a high of 90 at noon.

Anglers had 12 bass weighing 7 -13 pounds.  Other popular baits included blue/chrome & black/chrome Rat-L-Traps, citrus crank baits, watermelon Brush Hogs, pearl swim baits, tilapia jigs and white Pop R’s.

Jim Waits & Bucky Leigh – AZ

Fishing 1/2 oz. white  and white/chartruese spinner baits with gold blades Jim & Bucky had 85 bass including two 10 lbers.  The fished in 8+ ft of water.   guide Pedro

Kelly & Billy had 95 bass fishing 1/2 oz. white spinner baits with gold blades.  Two 8 lbers were their largest fish.  guide Armando, Jr.

Not only did Jim and Kelly have 80 bass for the day, that number included 9.0, 9.8 and 10 lb fish.  They fished 6+ ft deep with white spinner baits with gold blades.    guide Armando, Jr.

Bucky Leigh & Billy Skinner – AZ

Bucky & Billy had 100 bass fishing white spinner baits and bone Rat-L-Traps in 6-8 ft of water.  They also had a 9 lber.   guide Pedro

Bill Blackburn & Steve Humphries – AL

Bill & Steve had three bass weighing in at 9 lbs and one weighing 9.8.  Their total catch was 75 bass for the day.  They fished black/blue jigs in 4-12 ft of water.  guide Jorge

Dan & Troy had 64 bass including two 9 lbers and an 8.8.  They fished 8″ watermelon lizards and pumpkin football head  jigs in 10+ ft of water.   guide Enrique

Monty Yeager & Mike Gilley – AL

Monty & Mike had 130 bass including 1 nice 9.3 lber.  They fished jigs in 5+ ft of water.  guide Armando, Sr.

Warm day with a high of 90 at noon.  Some wind in the afternoon.

A great day of fishing both in size and numbers.  There were seven 9 lb fish and boat totals ranged from 29 to 130.  Anglers also used pearl swim baits and  purple Flukes.

Mike & Steve had 90 bass fishing watermelon candy 8″ lizards and brown/blue jigs in 7+ ft of water.  Mike had a 9 lb beauty.   guide Enrique

Troy & Hank had a great day of fishing with 59 bass that included four 7 lbers and an 8 lber.  Their baits of choice were 8″ watermelon lizards and black/blue jigs in 7-10 ft of water.   guide Chelo

Ron Clark & David Hallmark – GA & AL

Ron & David had 69 bass fishing pearl swim baits and blue Rat-L-Traps in 12+ ft of water.  They had 2 bass over 7 lbs.    guide Armando, Sr.

Boat totals ranged from 40 to 90 bass for the day.  Luck Cox also had a 9 lber making a total of three 9 lbers for the day.

Commercial fishing on El Salto has ceased until September.

Bill & Mike fished chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps and 8″ watermelon seed lizards in 8+ ft of water.  They had 95 bass for the day.  guide Chelo
