3/2/2012

Anthony Sulkevich – PA     Anthony fished yellow crank baits in 1-10 ft of water and citrus crank baits in 1-15 ft of water.  He landed 30 bass including a nice 8 lber.   Guide Oscar

Nino Correnti – MD     Nino fished in 1-5 ft of water with green pumpkin brush hogs, and in 5+ ft of water with white/chartreuse spinner baits.  His largest fish of the day was 7.7 lbs.  He totaled 39 bass.   Guide Sanchez

Brian Zimmerman & Mike King – OR    Brian & Mike had the most fish of the day with a total of 55.  Their baits of choice were 5″ watermelon red Senkos, and green pumpkin brush hogs fished in 1-4 ft of water.   Guide Enrique

Other anglers fished chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps in 2-6 ft of water, green/chartreuse jigs in 10 ft of water, Carolina rigged 8″ watermelon lizards in 1-10 ft of water, and Texas rigged 8″ watermelon lizards in 2-15 ft of water.   Boats totaled 224 bass.

50 degrees at 5am warming to 80 at 11:30am.  70 degrees at 7pm.

Mike King & Brian Zimmerman – OR    Mike & Brian fished blue/black spinner baits & jigs in 1-4 ft of water.  They had 115 bass for the day.  Mike landed a nice 9.4 lber.  They also had 7.1, 7.5, 6.8 & 6.5 lbers.  Guide Victor

Robert May & Benjamin Dye – AR    Fishing pumpkin jigs in 1-6 ft of water, Robert & Benjamin landed 55 bass including a 9.9 lb beauty & a nice 7.9 lber both caught by Benjamin.  Guide Enrique

Gary Jackson & Jim Wolfe – AR    Gary & Jim fished 5″ green Senkos in 1-4 ft of water, and white spinner baits in 1-10 ft of water.  They had 92 bass for the day including Jim’s 8.8 lber.   Guide Hector

Our 6 anglers totaled 262 bass for the day.

Nino Correnti – MD    Nino fished fire tiger crank baits in 16 ft of water and watermelon red brush hogs in 1-7 ft of water.  He had 40 bass including a 7.1 lber and the big bass of the day, a 10.2 lb trophy.    Guide Oscar

Graham Morgan & Shane Thompson – NC & TX    Graham & Shane had 112 bass for the day.  They fished sexy shad crank baits in 8 ft of water and Texas rigged watermelon flukes in 1-4 ft of water.   Guide Cristian

Anthony Sulkevich – PA     Fishing chartreuse spinner baits in 5 ft of water and chartreuse crank baits in 10 ft of water, Anthony had 13 bass.   Guide Armando

Our 4 anglers totaled 165 bass for the day.

Mike King & Brian Zimmerman – OR     Mike & Brian had not only the most bass – 120 – but also the largest with a nice 8.4 lber caught by Brian.  Mike also did well with 8.1, & 7.3 lbers.  They fished in 1-4 ft of water with watermelon tubes and white/chartreuse spinner baits.   Guide Hector

Robert May & Benjamin Dye – AR    Fishing in 1-6 ft of water using green pumpkin jigs, Robert & Benjamin landed 105 bass for the day.  Their largest was a 6.8 lber caught by Benjamin.  Guide Victor

Gary Jackson & Jim Wolfe – AR    Gary & Jim chose 6″ watermelon/chartreuse Senkos and 8″ watermelon lizards fished in 1-6 ft of water.  They totaled 76 bass.   Guide Enrique

Our 6 anglers totaled 301 bass for the day.

Mike King & Brian Zimmerman – OR     Mike & Brian not only had the most bass for the day – 135 – but also the largest when Brian hooked a 10.2 lb trophy.  They also landed 8.5 & 7.5 lbers.   Their baits of choice were watermelon Senkos, watermelon red Senkos and brush hogs fished in 1-5 ft of water.   Guide Jorge

Gary Jackson & Jim Wolfe – AR    Gary and Jim fished black/blue worms in 4+ ft. of water, and watermelon jigs in 1-5 ft of water.  They totaled 92 bass with a 7 lber as their largest.   Guide Victor

Rick Hutchinson & Helen Hutchinson – LA    Fishing sexy shad crank baits in 1-5 ft of water, Rick & Helen caught 45 bass with a 6.8 lber as their largest.   Guide Jorge

Mike Hicks & Dana Hicks – LA    Mike & Dana fished watermelon red lizards in 1-5 ft of water.  They totaled 56 bass with a 6.4 lber as their largest.  Guide J. Manuel

8″ watermelon lizards fished in 1-4 ft of water were also used.  Boats totaled 241 bass.

Mike Hicks & Dana Hicks – LA     Mike & Dana had the most fish of the day with a total of 113.  Their largest was a 7 lber caught by Dana.  Their bait of choice was 8″ watermelon red lizards fished in 1-7 ft of water.  Guide German

Mike King & Brian Zimmerman – OR     Mike & Brian did well their first day of fishing by landing 75 bass with a 6.8 lber as their largest.  They fished watermelon crawdads in 1-6 and 8 ft of water.  Guide Jorge

Rick Hutchinson & Helen Hutchinson – LA    Fishing in 1-6 ft of water with tilapia crank baits and in 4-5 ft of water with 8″ watermelon lizards, Rich & Helen had 65 bass with a 6 lber as their largest.   Guide Felipe

Our other 2 anglers fished with 8″ watermelon red lizards in 6+ ft of water, and watermelon brush hogs in 4+ ft of water.  Our 8 anglers totaled 316 bass.

Rick Hutchinson & Helen Hutchinson – LA    Rick & Helen fished in 3+ ft of water with white spinner baits, and in 1-3 ft of water with black/white crank baits.  They had 48 bass with a nice 8 lber as their largest.   Guide J. Manuel

Mike Hicks & Dana Hicks – LA    Mike & Dana landed the most fish of the day with a total of 80.  Their largest weighed in at 6.7 lbs.  They chose 8″ watermelon red lizards as their baits for the day.  They fished in 1-10 ft of water.    Guide Felipe

Bob Pridgen & Shelia Pridgen – LA    Bob & Shelia fished in 1-5 ft of water with watermelon lizards, and in 6-8 ft with watermelon red lizards.  They had 77 bass for the day.   Guide German

Bob Aleman & Frank Rose – CA      Bob & Frank fished wacky rigged 6″ watermelon red Senkos in 8 ft of water, and 8″ watermelon lizards in 1-3 ft of water.  They had 53 bass for the day including Bob’s nice 8.4 lber.   Guide Enrique

Dana Clor & Richard Horne – CA     Fishing with fire tiger crank baits in 3-10 ft of water, Dana & Richard had 77 bass for the day.  Guide Victor

Eric Morton & Paul Moniz – MO     Eric & Paul had 60 bass with a 7.2 lber as their largest.  Their baits of choice were orange/purple flukes, and Texas rigged watermelon flukes fished in 10 ft of water.  Guide German

Other anglers fished 7″ watermelon red Senkos in 1-10 ft of water, crawfish crank baits in 1-5 ft of water, chartreuse spinner baits in 1-5 ft of water, and Texas rigged black flukes in 5-10 ft of water.   Boats totaled 401 bass.

64 degrees at 5am warming to 74 at 11:30am.  68 at 6:30pm.

Harry Gualco & Larry Longworth – OR    Harry had the big bass of the day when he landed a 9.6 lb beauty.  He and Larry fished chartreuse and fire tiger crank baits in 1-8 ft of water.  They totaled 55 bass for the day.  Guide Jorge

David Clor & Richard Horne – CA    Fishing with fire tiger crank baits in 1-8 ft of water, Richard & David had 96 bass with Richard catching nice 8.0 & 9.3 lbers.  Guide Armando

Warren McGaha & Dave Francois – CA & OR    Warren & Dave landed the most fish of the day with a total of 110.  They also fished fire tiger crank baits in 1-8 ft of water.   Guide Sanchez

Other anglers fished 8″ watermelon red lizards in 1-10 ft of water, wacky rigged 6″ watermelon red Senkos in 10-15 ft of water, 6″ watermelon Senkos is 1-10 ft of water and 6″ chartreuse Senkos in 1-10 ft of water.  Boats totaled 492 bass.

60 degrees at 4:30am warming to 90 at 11:30am.  72 at 7pm.
