JIMMY SMITH GROUP #1 FALL SEASON after 4 full days of fishing this group has had a great trip boating 508 total peacocks with 83 being over 10lbs,34 over 15lbsand 10 over 20lbs with the largest weighing 24.8lbs caught by Chad Bray on a Kaenpfer Peacock Special in a black & orange pattern

JIMMY SMITH GROUP #1 FALL SEASON after 3 days of fishing this group reports 309 peacocks with 42 being over 10lbs,14 over 15lbs and 3 over 20lbs with the biggest weighing 22lbs.
the Jim Kaempfer “Peacock Special” continues to be the hot bait for these fish.

General Comments: THIS TRIP WAS BY FAR THE BEST FOR THE YEAR. 14 ANGLERS CAUGHT 662 PEACOCKS WITH 53 OVER 10LBS, 21 OVER 15LBS & 7 OVER 20LBS MOST ALL FISH CAUGHT ON JIM KEAMPFERS PEACOCK SPECIAL. FISHING SHOULD STAY GOOD AS THE RIVER CONTINUES TO RECEDE

KENT CLIFTON GROUP#1 THIS WAS OUR FIRST GROUP OF THE FALL SEASON AND WAS A PRETTY GOOD TRIP WITH 400+ FISH CAUGHT BY 8 FISHERMEN WITH BIGGEST BEING 19.8LBS AND REPORTS OF LARGER FISH RIPPING HOOKS FROM BAITS. WATER IS PERFECT RIGHT NOW AND WE EXPECT THIS TO BE ONE OF OUR BEST FALL SEASONS EVER.
THIS IS ALSO OUR 1ST TRIP ON THE NEW HOUSEBOAT “THE OTTER” AND CLIENTS ARE VERY PLEASED WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THE TRIP.

General Comments: THIS WAS A GOOD WEEK WITH GOOD NUMBERS OF BIG FISH–TOTAL FISH –555 –85 FISH OVER 10LBS—25 FISH OVER 15LBS,3 FISH OVER 20LBS WITH THE LARGEST WEIGHING 24 LBS. THE WATER WAS ALMOST PERFECT AND A TRUE SHAME THIS WAS THE LAST GROUP OF THE FALL. NEXT FALL WE WILL START OUR TRIPS ON THIS RIVER THE FIRST OF OCTOBER SO WE CAN RUN GROUPS LONGER TO THE FIRST OF NOVEMBER.

General Comments: 420 peacocks with Mark Wagner & Jeffery Phelps catching 2 over 19lb. Water was still a little high. Most fish caught on Kaempfer Topwaters & white jigs. This group had a great time as they do every year on their annual trip to Brazil

544 TOTAL PEACOCKS WITH 84 OVER 10LBS,40 OVER 15LBS AND 6 OVER 20LBS DEBBIE JOCK HAD THE BIGGEST WITH A 25.85 AND CHARLIE JOCK CLOSE BEHIND WITH A 25LB. THE HOT BAIT WAS THE KAEMPFER “PEACOCK SPEED SECRET”

Water: RIVER WAS GETING LOW

General Comments: LOW WATER FORCED MOST FISH BACK INTO THE LAGOON LAKES AND INTO THE SHALLOW COVES. THE KAEMPFER SPEED SECRET WAS THE TICKET FOR THE LARGER PEACOCKS. THIS HAS BEEN BY FAR OUR BEST SEASON FOR NUMBERS AND 20 PEACOCKS. LOOK FOR TO ONLY GET BETTER NEXT SEASON
