Brandon Harris & Kristen Flemming – OK    Brandon & Kristen fished watermelon red flukes in 10-12 ft of water.  Tey had 30 bass for the day.  Guide Sanchez

Regina Walker & Ed Walker – LA    Regina & Ed fished watermelon red Senkos in 2-10 ft of water.  Their largest weighed in at 4.8 lbs.  Guide Enrique

Tommy Hunt & Joe Earney – AR    Fishing Carolina rigged watermelon red flukes in 20 ft of water, Tommy & Joe had 19 fish for the day.   Guide Pedro

Sammy Morris & Mike Cameron – TX    Mike & Sammy had a great day of fishing with Sammy landing a 13.4 lb trophy and Mike landing a 9.4 lb beauty.  They had a total of 50 bass for the day.  Sammy caught his bass on a watermelon/chartreuse fluke in 1-14 ft of water.  Mike’s fish was also caught on a fluke that was watermelon colored.  Guide Armando, Jr.

Tommy Hunt – AR    Tommy fished alone and had a total of 24 bass including a nice 8.1 lber.  He fished in 10+ ft of water with a citrus crankbait.   Guide J. Manuel

Dave Albert & David Strahan –  AR & TX    Dave & David landed the most fish for the day with a total of 67 with their largest weighing in at 6 lbs..  The fished watermelon flukes in 10-12 ft of water.  Guide Jorge.

Other anglers fished watermelon red lizards in depths from 2-15 ft; Carolina rigged watermelon seed and watermelon/chartreuse flukes in 5-12 ft of water; and watermelon red flukes in 2-12 ft of water.

50 degrees at 4am warming to 78 at 11:30am.  68 degrees at 7pm.

J.W. Peterson & Chris Simmons – TX & TN     Chris landed a 12 lb trophy bass today.  He & J.W. fished pumpkin and watermelon flukes in 10-15 ft of water.  They had 55 bass.  Guide Sanchez

Wayne Simmons & Craig Smith – TN    Wayne & Craig fished in 2-8 ft of water with 8″ watermelon red lizards.  Craig landed a 9 lb beauty.   Guide Jorge

Chris Taylor & Buth Cernosek – TX    Chris & Butch fished watermelon red Senkos in 8-10 ft of water.  They had 32 bass including a nice 8.8 lber.  Guide J. Manuel

Watermelon red Senkos and watermelon red lizards fished in 2-20 ft of water seemed to be the baits of choice for nearly all the anglers.

54 degrees at 5am and 70 at 6:30pm.

J.W. Peterson – TX    J.W. landed the big fish for the day with a nice 9 lber.  He had 32 bass.  He fished in 18 ft of wter with 8″ watermelon red lizards.  Guide Hector

Mike Sanders & Blake Sanders – TX    Mike & Blake landed the most fish with a total of 60 including a 7.8 lber.  They fished wacky rigged sweet potato Senkos in 10 ft of water.  Guide Felipe

Joe Earney & Tommy Hunt – AR    Joe & Tommy fished black/blue jigs and watermelon lizards in 10-15 ft of water.  They also had a 7.8 lber in their total of 42 bass for the day.  Guide Victor

Jeff Nelson & Terry Petchinsky – TX   Jeff and Terry landed the most fish of the day with a total of 73.  They fished in 20 ft of water with 8″ watermelon red lizards.  Their largest fish weighed 6.88 lbs.   Guide Sanchez

Tony Cox & Rod Anthony – TX    Fishing in 2-10 ft of water, Tony & Rod had 52 fish for the day.  They fished 8″ watermelon red lizards.  Their largest fish weighed in at 6 lbs.   Guide Armando, Sr.

Curt Rogers & Matt Blielski – LA & TX    Curt & Matt also fished with watermelon red lizards.  They had 48 fish with their largest weighing 6.8 lbs.  Guide Oscar

Every boat but one fished watermelon red lizards at various depths.  The other anglers fished “tomato” lizards in 10+ ft of water.

Last week’s group ended up with a total of 652 peacocks.  They had 56 over 10 lbs., 22 over 15 lbs.,  and 4 that were 20+ lbs.

This week’s group is up to 114 peacocks at lunch break today.  They have 8 over 10 lbs. and 2 over 15.  Their largest weighed in at 17 lbs.

David Riley & Ken Higgins – TX    David had the big fish for the day, landing a nice 8 lber.  He & Ken fished in 10-12 ft of water with watermelon red lizards.   Guide Oscar

Tony Cox & Curt Rogers – TX   Tony & Curt landed the most bass of the day with a boat total of 65.  They fished 14+ ft deep with watermelon red lizards.  Guide Victor

Craig Golden & Crit Golden – TX    Fishing Carolina rigged 8″ watermelon red lizards in 15 ft of water, Craig & Crit had 52 bass for the day.   Guide Armando, Sr.

Other anglers fished purple and watermelon worms in 10 ft of water; and,watermelon red Senkos in 15-20 ft of water.  Eight of the 12 boats had totals of 40+ bass for the day.

50 degrees at 5am, 70 degrees at 11am and 74 degrees at 7pm.

Hunter Gordon & Terry Petinchehky – TX   Hunter & Terry fished Carolina rigged watermelon red lizards in 10+ ft of water.  Their 25 bass for the day included a 13.14 lb trophy landed by Hunter.    Guide J. Manuel

David Riley & Ken Higgins – TX     David & Ken fished white flukes in 2-8 ft of water, and 8″ watermelon red lizards in 15-20 ft of water.  They had 42 bass for the day including a 10.3 lb beauty.   Guide Oscar

Charley Reynolds & Rick Ames – TX    Charley & Rick also landed a nice 10 lber today, alsong with 45 other bass.  They fished 8″ watermelon red lizards in 8+ ft of water.   Guide Sanchez

Three other anglers landed 9 lbers today.  Seven of the 12 boats had 40+ fish for the day.  Watermelon and watermelon red lizards were the baits of the day for all boats.
