Derek Cabrera & Kevin Magee – WA

Derek & Kevin only fished 1/2 the day but had 70 bass.  They used watermelon worms and crank baits in 12-15 ft of water.   Guide Juan

Cooler day with a high of 76 at noon.  Cloudy with rain in the afternoon.

Derek Cabrera & Kevin Magee – WA

Derek & Kevin had 14 bass in the morning over 5 lbs and of these 6 were over 7 lbs.  They fished citrus and white crank baits in 12-15 ft of water.  Their morning total catch was 70 bass.  In the afternoon they fished citrus shad crank baits and 10″ black and tequila sunrise Power Worms in 10-15 ft of water.  They had 25 bass in the afternoon.  Their largest bass of the day weighed in at 9.0 lbs.    Guide Juan

Clear morning but became cloudy in the afternoon.  There was a little wind.  High of 86 at noon.

Tony & Timothy Brown – AR

Tony & Timothy had 65 bass fishing 8″ watermelon lizards in 10+ ft of water, and citrus shad crank baits in 8-10 ft of water.    Guide J. Manuel

Darrent Brown – AR

Fishing chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps and citrus crank baits in 10+ ft of water, Darrent had 28 bass with a 7.0 lber as his largest.   Guide German

Partly cloudy with a little rain in the afternoon.  A lot of rain falling in the Sierras causing the lake to rise 2 ft.  High of 88 at noon.

Timothy Brown – AR

A great day of fishing for Timothy.  He had 30 bass including a 10.4 lb beauty and a 13.8 lb trophy.  He fished citrus shad and white crank baits in 10-12 ft of water.   Guide J. Manuel

Tony & Darrent Brown – AR

Tony & Darrent fished chartruese buzz baits in 1-5 ft of water.  Their largest bass was 6 lbs.   Guide German

Timothy & Darrent Brown – AR

Tim & Darrent had 42 bass fishing 8″ pumpkinseed lizards in 8-10 ft of water.  Their largest bass weighed in at 8 lbs.    Guide Victor

Tony fished alone using yellow/silver Pop R’s in 1-10 ft of water.  His largest bass was 7.9 lbs.    Guide German

Dick & David fished 8″ watermelon lizards 6-10 ft deep and landed 66 bass a 7.9 lber and a 9 lb beauty.    Guide Enrique

Bob Griggs & Gary Terry – TX

Bob & Gary had 62 bass for the day.  Their largest weighed in at 8.8 lbs.  They fished tilapia crank baits in 21 + ft of water.   Guide Victor

Gary Rue & Leonard Merrell – TX

Fishing citrus Fat Free Shad and green/black Bombers in 15-20 ft of water, Gary & Leonard had 53 bass with their largest being 8.15 lbs.   Guide Pedro

Cloudy morning but clear in the afternoon.  High of 90 at noon.

Boat totals ranged from 21 – 66 bass for the day.  Other baits included white buzz baits, silver/blue and sexy shad crank baits.

Bob Griggs & Ryan Penn – TX

Bob & Ryan fished Texas rigged 8″ watermelon lizards and watermelon red brush hogs in 10+ ft of water.  Bob landed an 11 lb trophy and Ryan had a 9 lb beauty.  They had 35 bass for the day.   Guide Armando, Jr.

Jim Penn & Gary Terry – TX

Fishing blue and blue/green crank baits in 15-25 ft of water Jim & Gary had 58 bass including four 8 lbers and a 7.8.    Guide Jorge

Gary Rue & Leonard Merrell – TX

Gary & Leonard had 50 bass fishing black/yellow crank baits in 15-20 ft of water.  Their largest bass weighed 8.10 lbs.   Guide Pedro

Slightly cooler day with a high of 86 at noon.  Cloudy in the morning but clearing in the afternoon with a little wind.

Boat totals ranged from 35-67 bass.  There were eleven bass weighing over 7 lbs.

Ted Perrin & Eric Morton – MO

Ted & Eric fished 8″ watermelon red lizards in 1-20 ft of water and had 36 bass for the day.  Their largest weighed 9.8 lbs.   Guide Victor

Kirk & David fished white/blue crank baits in 15-20 ft of water and white buzz baits in 3+ ft of water.  They had 46 bass with an 8 lber as their largest.   Guide Oscar

Jim Penn & Ryan Penn – TX

Fishing citrus shad crank baits 15-20 ft deep Jim and Ryan had 50 bass.   Guide Enrique

Clear day with strong winds in the afternoon.  High of 94 at noon.

Anglers also fished 8″ watermelon lizards and perico Bomber crank baits.

Alejandro Arias & Tom Worthy – CA & LA

Alejandro & Tom fished 10″ tequila sunrise and black smog worms and citrus shad crank baits in 5-15 ft of water, and landed 35 bass.  They had two 10 lb beauties and an 11 lb trophy.   Guide Hector

Scott Stanford & Ricky Ethridge – TX

Fishing citrus shad crank baits 20-25 ft deep Scott & Ricky had 56 bass for the day.  They had four bass over 8 1/2 lbs with the largest weighing in at 10.6 lbs.   Guide Armando, Sr.

Eric Hunt & Bentley Hunt – TX

Tilapia crank baits fished 15-20 ft deep were the lures of choice for Eric & Bentley.  They landed 60 bass and had three over 8 lbs.  Their largest weighed 9.8 lbs.  Guide J. Manuel

High of 90 at noon with strong winds in the afternoon. 

Other baits used were 8″ watermelon red lizards and worms, chartruese Rat-L-Traps, green pumpkin Creatures,  and white crank baits.  These anglers had 15 bass over 7 lbs.

Alejandro & Tom had 70 bass fishing citrus shad crank baits in 20-30 ft of water.  70 bass is a great day’s catch, especially when it includes three bass over 10 lbs — 10.3, 10.6 & 10.7.   Guide Armando, Sr.

Manuel Real & Brett Langolis – CA & LA

Boat totals for the day ranged from 18-80.  Their were 14 bass weighing 7 or more pounds.  Other baits used were chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps and white crank baits.
