2/21/2012

Harry Gualco & Dave Francois – OR     Harry & Dave had the most bass of the day with a total of 111.  Their largest weighed 7.1 & 8 lbs.  They fished chartreuse crank baits in 1-8 ft of water.   Guide Jorge

Mike Holmes & Greg Siegmann – CA    Fishing in 1-15 ft of water with 6″ black/blue and green/red flakes Senkos, and jigs, Greg had the big bass of the day when he landed a 9.3 lb beauty.  He & Mike had 47 bass.  Guide Victor

Dana Clor & Richard Horne – CA    Fishing white crank baits in 6-8 ft of water, Dana & Richard had 88 bass.  Guide Sanchez

Other anglers fished 8″ watermelon and watermelon red lizards in 1-5 and 8 ft of water, 5″ black flukes in 5-10 ft of water, citrus crank baits in 10+ ft of water, and 6″ watermelon Senkos in 2-10 ft of water.  Boats totaled 482 bass for the day.

Mike Holmes & Greg Siegmann – CA     Mike & Greg fished wacky rigged watermelon Senkos and white/red flakes Senkos in 1-15 ft of water.  They had 72 bass for the day including Mike’s 9.2 & 9.3 lbers.  Guide Cristian

Eric Morton & Paul Moniz – MO     Eric & Paul had the most fish of the day with a total of 94.  Their baits of choice were watermelon and watermelon red lizards fished in 1-10 ft of water.  Guide Sanchez

Bob Aleman & Frank Rose – CA     Fishing in 1-15 ft of water with watermelon red Senkos, Bob & Frank had 81 bass with nice 7.6 and 8.1 lbers as their largest.  Guide Enrique

Other anglers fished watermelon flukes in 1-10 and 10-15 ft of water, watermelon Senkos & lizards in 1-5 ft of water, chartreuse crank baits in 1-10 ft of water, and watermelon seed flukes in 1-3 ft of water.  Boats totaled 549 bass for the day.

50 degrees at 5am warming to 80 at noon.  70 at 7:30pm.

Mark Benavides & Bill Crawley – NM    Mark & Bill fished chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps in 1-5 ft of water, and Carolina rigged watermelon flukes in 5+ ft of water.  They landed the most fish of the day with a total of 126.   Guide German

Bob Aleman & Frank Rose – CA    Fishing watermelon/red flakes Senkos in 5+ ft of water, and watermelon red lizards in 7-10 ft of water, Bob & Frank had 87 bass with a 9.5 lb beauty caught by Bob.  Guide Armando

Mike Holmes & Greg Siegmann – CA    Mike & Greg fished watermelon and watermelon red Senkos  in 1-10 ft of water.   They had 92 bass with their largest weighing 7.4 lbs.   Guide Enrique

Other anglers fished fire tiger crank baits in 1-7 ft of water, Texas rigged watermelon red Senkos in 1-10 ft of water, and watermelon lizards & Senkos in 1-6 ft of water.  Our 14 anglers totaled 515 bass for the day.

Sean Weaks & Brad Bayless – TX    Brad had the big bass of the day when he landed a 12 lb trophy while fishing watermelon red lizards in 6 ft of water.  Brad & Sean had 50 bass for the day.   Guide Victor

Jeff Nelson & Rick Hopfauf – TX     Jeff & Rick fished watermelon lizards in 6 ft of water.  They had 99 bass for the day including a nice 8.1 lber.   Guide Felipe

Matt Bielski & Andy Cox – TX   Matt & Andy had the most fish of the day with a total of 118.  They fished shad Rat-L-Traps in 5 ft of water.  Their largest bass weighed in at 7.1 lbs.   Guide Enrique

Other anglers fished with watermelon red Senkos in 10+ ft of water, white crank baits in 10 ft of water, green pumpkin lizards in 1-20 ft of water, watermelon red lizards in 6-10 ft of water, and  sexy shad Rat-L-Traps in 5-10 ft of water.  Boats totaled 927 bass.

64 degrees at 5am.  66 at 8pm.

Matt Bielski & Andy Cox – TX      Matt & Andy fished citrus crank baits and watermelon Senkos in 5+ ft of water.  They had 179 bass for the day including a nice 8 lber caught by Matt.   Guide Victor

Bruce Carter & Steve Guyton – TX    Fishing in 1-10 ft of water with citrus crank baits, Bruce & Andy had 97 bass with their largest weighing in at 8.1 lbs.   Bruce caught the 8 lber.   Guide Jorge

Curt Rogers & Troy Downs – TX     Watermelon lizards fished in 10+ ft of water were the bait of choice for Curt & Troy.  They had 120 bass for the day.   Guide J. Manuel

Other anglers fished watermelon seed brush hogs in 5-10 ft of water, Rat-L-Traps in 5-10 ft of water, watermelon red lizards in 1-10 ft of water, and Yellow Magic top water baits in 1-5 ft of water.  Our anglers ended the day with a total of 1083 bass.

Rod Anthony & Troy Downs – LA & TX     Rod & Troy fished Texas rigged watermelon lizards in 1-10 ft of water.  They had 134 bass for the day including a 9.8 lb beauty the Troy landed.   Guide Victor

Sean Weeks & Gary Harvey – TX     Sean had the big fish for the day when he landed a 10.6 lb trophy.  He and Gary fished in 8 ft of water with watermelon red flukes & lizards.  Their daily total was 75 fish.

Bruce Carter & Steve Guyton – TX    Fishing watermelon brush hogs in 3-5 ft of water, Bruce & Steve had a total of 102 bass with a nice 8.5 lber.   Guide German

Other anglers fished watermelon red lizards in 4+ ft of water, watermelon brush hogs & Senkos in 8-15 ft of water, white spinner baits in 5+ ft of water, and yellow magic Pop R’s in 1-8 ft of water.  Total bass for the day -916.

Mark McIntosh & Sean Weaks – TX     Mark & Sean fished watermelon red flukes in 7-8 ft of water.  They had 85 bass including a 10 lb trophy caught by Sean   Guide J. Manuel

Rod Anthony & Wayne Hughes – LA & TX    Fishing white spinner baits in 4-8 ft of water, Rod & Wayne had a total of 90 bass including 7.5, 8.1 & 8.7 pounders.  Guide Enrique

Tony Cox & Matt Bielski – TX     Tony & Matt landed the most fish of the day with a total of 150.  Their bait of choice  was white/chartreuse Rat-L-Traps fished in 4-8 ft of water.   Guide Armando

Other anglers fished watermelon red lizards in 8-10 ft of water, watermelon brush hogs in 4+ ft of water, Carolina rigged watermelon red lizards in 8 ft of water, and watermelon red Senkos in 1-10 ft of water.  A 9 lber was caught by William Butcher on the watermelon red Senkos.  927 total fish for the day.

Wayne Hughes – TX    Wayne fished watermelon red lizards in 4-12 ft of water, and  Carolina rigged watermelon red lizards in 10 ft of water.  He had 52 bass for the day including a 9.6 lb beauty.  Guide Sanchez

Tony Cox & Rod Anthony – TX & LA   Tony & Rod fished white/chartreuse swim baits in 16 ft of water, and watermelon flukes in 10+ ft of water.  They had 124 bass for the day.  Their largest weighed 7.8 lbs.   Guide Oscar

Matt Bielski & Curt Rogers – TX    Matt & Curt fished black ketchup lizards in 5-8 ft of water, and citrus Rat-L-Traps in 6+ ft of water.  They landed 121 bass with a 7.6 lber as their largest.   Guide Hector

Other anglers fished watermelon red lizards in 4-12 ft of water, watermelon lizards in 10-20 ft of water, and green/orange jigs in 1-10 ft of water.  Boats totaled 533 bass.

Troy Downs & Rod Anthony – TX & LA     Troy & Rod fished watermelon lizards in 5+ ft of water.  They had a total of 106 bass including a 10.11 lb trophy that Troy landed.  Guide Armando

Tony Cox & Curt Rogers – TX     Tony & Curt had 128 bass for the day.  They fished tilapia Rat-L-Traps in 10 ft of water, and green/white Rat-L-Traps in 4+ ft of water.  Guide Sanchez

Wayne Hughes & Andy Cox – TX     Wayne & Andy fished in 10 ft of water with watermelon lizards, and in 10+ ft of water with citrus crank baits.  They had 111 bass.   Wayne had a nice 8.8 lber.    Guide Hector

Other anglers fished watermelon jigs in 3-12 ft of water, chartreuse spinner baits in 5+ ft of water, Texas rigged watermelon lizards in 5+ ft of water, and watermelon red lizards and brush hogs in 2-10 ft of water.  Our 9 anglers had a total of 551 bass for the day.

J.W. Peterson & Shawn Mullins – TX & OK   J.W. & Shawn had 100 bass for the day.  Their baits of choice were tilipia Pop R’s in 3-4 ft of water, and 8″ wagermelon lizards in 15+ ft of water.  Their largest bass weighed in at 7 lbs.   Guide Hector
