Group one looks like they might end up with over 1000 peacock bass.  At lunch today, after 5 1/2 days of fishing, they were already up to 967 fish.  They now have 24 over 10 lbs., 9 over 15 lbs. and an 18 lber is still their largest catch.

When our first group of fishermen came in for lunch today their total catch for 4 1/2 days was up to 749 fish.  They had 22 over 10 lbs., 8 over 15 and an 18 lber is still the largest peacock they have landed.

Our first group of the season has been fishing 2 1/2 days.  They are fly fishermen.  As of lunch time today, they had 393 fish with 10 over 10, 5 over 15 and an 18 lber is their largest catch.

Butch Franson & David Grohosky – CA    Butch & David fished citrus shad crank baits in 12 ft of water.  They had 50 bass including a nice 8 lber.   Guide Enrique

Tom Craig & Mike Furnstahl – NC & MN     Fishing 10-15 ft deep with silver/blue Rat-L-Traps, Tom & Mike landed 76 bass for the day.   Guide Oscar

Gary Weissenberger & Amy Groff – NC & CA    Gary & Amy fished watermelon lizards in 14 ft of water.  They had a total of 46 bass.   Guide Victor

78 degrees at 5am warming to 98 at 1pm.  Clear in the morning but overcast in the afternoon.

Tom Craig & Mike Furnstahl – NC & MN    Tom & Craig fished in 20-25 ft of water with citrus shad crank baits.  They had 92 bass with a 7 lber as their largest.   Guide Enrique

Butch Franson & David Grohosky – CA    Butch & David fished green & white spinner baits and caught 44 bass.  Guide Oscar

Gary Weissenberger & Amy Groff – NC & CA    Gary & Amy fished watermelon red lizards in 15 ft of water.  They had 35 bass for the day.   Guide Victor

72 degrees at 5 am warming to 90 at 1pm.  Cloudy morning, overcast at noon and cloudy again in the evening.
